Just received my OsPid and it works a treat standalone once I insulated the Thermocouple with the finger of a surgical glove (had to double up to make it work).

However, I’ve got some trouble with the front end.
I followed the instructions on the arduino website and installed the FTDI driver under Win7. I can see ‘USB Serial Port (COM22)’ in the device manager and it also shows up in the Front End. However, when I select that and click ‘Connect’ the front end hangs with “connecting”. When I don’t select Com22 nothing happens. Selecting Serial Manager in the Arduino IDE says ‘COM22 is is use by another program’. Any ideas?
Once it works I’ll be happy to share some photos “in the wild” for my “Sous Vide in an ice box set-up”,

    Thanks a lot
    Manuel
