    Hi,
Can I use osPID to control a gate of thyristor-diode (http://www.semikron.com/dl/service-support/downloads/download/semikron-datasheet-skkt-58b16-e-07894842)
    NOT solid state relay (SSR)

if yes do I need to have anything else beside of thyristor-diode, thermocouple, and osPID

You need a thyrister trigger circuit. Ideally it should be synchronized to the mains to achieve zero volt switching.

The benefit of SSR is the isolation between input and power output.
With a Thyristor you have the risc of electric shock because you connect the main power with the osPID logic!

Hi the isolation is the same because you trigger the thyrister through an opto-coupler or an isolating pulse transformer.
