I received my ospid the other day & am ready to hook it up to my chosen oven.

(the ospid documentation pages do not server any content for me, so a reply of rtfm doesn’t help here)

I was able to get the windows front-end software going after downloading the 64bit serial dll.

I set the card & preferences to use the relay, when powered up, the relay cycles on/off — shouldn’t it wait to be ‘started’ before it tries to do anything?

The input card: I’ve hooked up the k-therm, the I value seems to drop when I hit the end with heat (eventually hitting – values) — normal?
Do I need to do anything with the voltage divider terminals? From what I can gather they are more for using a thermistor.

Thanks for your time / advise / help.

(and right as I was typing this — I can no longer connect to the pid with the software, “connecting…” couldn’t close the app so had to kill javaw & unplug it & plug back in — verify port #; re-load desktop app & select port & connect; and … “Connecting…” and locked up again. hopefully rebooting clears this up)
