    Hi,

I need a PID who power two relays (or SSR relay) during the ramps (if the temperature is to hi, cool (relay2); if is to low, heat (relay1)). Does the OSPID do that? Can I use both two outputs at the same time?

Are you talkin about controlling one external SSR, and one external relay. Or the relay inside the osPID?

to control two outputs at the same time you would need to modify the firmware a bit. definitely the output card code in io.h, and then presumably some stuff in the main program to make the outputs fire when you want them.

as far as relay/SSR for the second output. by default the output goes to the SSR terminals out the output card, but by changing a jumper you can have the output trigger a second onboard relay (not included)

Already did that. I added a few lines in the firmware to do it. I use the OSPID frontend to roast coffee, so, keeping the temperature in line during the ramps, and having fast response when decreasing temperature is very important.

Anyone have any suggestions on outputting 12VDC rather than 5 on the digital output? This output will be from the PID control and I will also need an output from the onboard relay to run simultaneously. 😛
