    Hi,

I just about to finish my version of hardware for the OSPID.
I don’t have much money, and living in Brazil can make the costs rises when buying things from other countries.
I can import some pieces, but, if the cost of booth the item and the shipping cote exceeds U$50.00, I’ll have to give 60% of it to the Brazil’s custom clearance service. So, if i import something costing U$51.00, I’ll pay U$ 30.10 to the Brazil’s Custon clearance service, what results in a total of U$81.00.
It can be frustrating, or Am I wrong?

So, instead buying the OSPID from RocketScream, I bought an arduino uno, a max 31885 shield, a Bluetooth shield, a ic2 eeprom a LCD shield, all from dx and ebay.

I Changed a little bit the code on OSPID firmware and now I have my custom version of OSPID.
It works well, and i use the OSPID frontend remotely with my computer.
Also it have another relay out (to cooler the oven i use to roast coffee when the input goes higher than setpoint)

Here are some photos of it:

    Sorry for my terrible English.

    Guilherme.

    Very Interesting,

How did you made the front panel with the buttons and where did you get the case ?

I always make some Atmel project and I’m facing the problem of Case and Buttons, so if you would share how to achieve this it will help me a lots 😉

I Received my osPid today, nice shipping, took standard shipping and did not pay anything at the clearance. tip is to avoid DHL, FEDEX and other, just use classic post service, it increase the shipping delay but I never pay anything.

Just need to install it now;-)
