    Hi all,

Looking at the schematics from OsPid and Reflow oven shield, I can see there is small difference on thermocouple interface, on the Arduino Shield, some more components are presents, such as the 2 ferrites, two caps (C8 and C9 NM) and the NUP2105.

Could someone can explain what these new components are for and how they change in thermocouple reading so I can choose between the shield and the OsPid, of course I’m more interested by osPID but these componenents are missing so I’m wondering which one works better.

Thank you for helping me to choose.

    Hi,

    I answer to myself,

Just received osPID today, looked at the Thermocouple fix, good surprise, it seems the new boards have not only the capacitor but also the 2 ferrites and the NUP2105.
Place for two caps (C8 and C9 NM) are also present but not the components.

Good news and good to know, schematic and board files seems not up to date on osPID web site
